VIOLENCE IN THE WORKPLACE
The objective of the Violence
Prevention Workshop is to address the workplace violence
epidemic. Rage in the workplace is on the rise. Training offers
both employees and managers what are the warning signs and how
to spot them. Preventive measures to curtail violence in the
workplace are discussed.
COMMUNICATIONS SELF DEFENSE
The job of Security Officer is
very verbally demanding. As a Security Officer, one does not
“meet” people – it is a matter of question, interview and taking
enforcement action. Thus the art of communicating with the
public deserves special and intense training. Also covered is
the California Penal Code as it relates to Security Officers
working in a fixed or roving post and the Laws of Arrest for the
State of Nevada.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS ENHANCEMENT TRAINING
This course develops effective
communications skills when dealing with the public, employees,
management, subordinates and outside agencies. Subjects covered
include cultural difference through diversity awareness,
developing listening skills, non-verbal communication,
personality types, threat assessments, anger management and
conflict resolution.
